Bill Bowers is a creative leader, creative technologist and systems thinker focused on the future of content, design and marketing operations.
Throughout his career, Bill has worked across brand identity, packaging, digital experiences, e-commerce, UX, and integrated brand systems. As technology transformed the creative industry, his work evolved alongside it—from designing brands and digital experiences to helping organizations rethink the systems, workflows and capabilities that make modern creative work possible.
Today, Bill serves as Associate Director, Creative Technologist at The Clorox Company, where he works across creative technology, UX, e-commerce, packaging, content operations and AI enablement. He helps creative and marketing teams operate more effectively through connected systems, scalable content models, design frameworks, workflow innovation, and emerging technologies. His work increasingly centers on how AI and intelligent automation can improve creative quality, accelerate content creation, and enable new ways of working.
I’ve spent years designing what brands create. Today, I'm equally interested in designing how brands create.
Prior to Clorox, Bill served as Digital Creative Director at Tolleson, leading digital experiences and brand platforms for organizations ranging from emerging startups to global enterprises, including Lucid Motors, Cisco and Gilead. That work reinforced a belief that successful digital experiences emerge when brand, design, technology and business strategy operate together.
Throughout his career, Bill has remained grounded in a simple design principle: understand the problem first. Whether building a brand, designing a product experience or implementing new technologies, he believes the role of technology is not to replace creative thinking but to amplify it.
Outside of his professional work, Bill is the founder of Three Arch Supply Company, a personal design project inspired by the culture, history and landscapes of coastal California.
